Dr Mitch Innes

Mitch is a specialist prosthodontist who operates a private practice on the Sunshine Coast coupled with a commercial dental laboratory, dental implant education practice, dentalcpd.com.au, and is a co-inventor and owner of Base X Keyway Alignment – fully digital full arch workflow. Mitch earnt a Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics) from the University of Adelaide. His in-depth research into CAD/CAM material science and their degradation behaviours has gained both national and international recognition.

Mitch continues to research the clinical performance of dental ceramics and the use of digital technology in the fabrication of ceramic and implant restorations—an area in which he regularly lectures across Australia and overseas. Dental Implantology makes up a significant proportion of Mitch’s practice, managing both new and failed implant cases. Mitch has a peer reviewed 99.5% osseointegration rate and a high level of long-term restoration success. Mitch’s latest contribution to implant dentistry is Base X Keyway alignment.
