Dr Yudai Ogawa completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at Tokyo Dental College in 2014. Currently, he practices in three dental clinics: Hamamatsu Perio-Implant Center Ishikawa Dental (Shizuoka, Japan), U Dental Office Ebisu (Tokyo, Japan), where he serves as the director, and Ogawa Dental Clinic (Shizuoka, Japan), where he also works as a periodontal and implant surgeon.
Dr. Ogawa is a Visiting Research Fellow at the Department of Dentistry and Oral Surgery at Keio University, School of Medicine (Tokyo, Japan). Since 2025, he has been serving as a Visiting Lecturer at Tokyo University of Science (formerly Tokyo Medical and Dental University).
He is the representative president of THREEE, a Japanese dental clinician association, which has 1000 paid members as of 2025.
Additionally, since 2023, Dr. Ogawa has been delivering an annual two-hour lecture at the Department of Periodontology, Harvard University. In 2025, he gave a lecture at the Department of Implant Dentistry, Loma Linda University. That same year, he is expected to conduct approximately 50 lectures and hands-on courses across seven countries.
He is a Certified Periodontist of the Japanese Society of Periodontology (JSP) and a Certified Oral Surgeon of the Japanese Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (JSOMS). He is also an Active Member of the Academy of Osseointegration (AO).
