Dr Rasperini is Associate Professor of Dentistry and Periodontology at the Department of Biomedical, Surgical and Dental Sciences, University of Milan, Italy and Adjunct Professor and part-time Faculty at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Boston, MA USA. Dr. Rasperini received his D.D.S. from the University of Pavia in 1990, his certificate of specialist in Orthodontics from the University of Milan in 1997, and his certificate as an Active Member of the Italian Society of Periodontology and Implantology (SIdP) in 1997. He later received his certificate as an Active Member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED) in 2009, made a Full member of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry (BAAD) 2015-2022, the Italian Academy of Osseointegration (IAO) in 2022, and Board member of the International Academy of Periodontology in 2023.
 

Dr. Rasperini is on the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Periodontics & Restorative Dentistry and is an ad hoc reviewer of multiple journals. He has published over 125 papers on PubMed and has been cited over 6000 times. He lectures extensively all over the world on the fields of Periodontology and Implantology, Regenerative Medicine, and Surgical Techniques for Periodontal and Peri-implant Tissue Reconstruction. He is the founder of the iPerio Education Center in Piacenza, Italy.
