Tuan Dao

Integration of Digital Technology to Deliver Predictable Full Arch Prostheses Using the Osstem OneGuide Approach

1.00 - 5.00pm | $600 incl gst | Afternoon Tea included

Full-arch implant rehabilitation has entered a new era with the integration of advanced digital workflows. This comprehensive hands-on workshop is designed for clinicians seeking to enhance precision, efficiency, and predictability in full-arch treatment using the Osstem Implant OneGuide system.

In this program, Dr Tuan Dao will share his step-by-step clinical workflow for managing full-arch implant cases—from diagnosis and digital planning through to guided surgery and prosthetic delivery. Participants will gain insight into how cutting-edge digital technologies, including 3D planning software and guided surgical protocols, can be seamlessly incorporated into everyday practice to improve surgical accuracy, restorative outcomes, and patient experience.

Workshop Highlights
- Case selection and digital data acquisition
- Digital treatment planning for full-arch rehabilitation
- Surgical guide design using the OneGuide approach
- Prosthetically driven implant placement
- Streamlining communication between clinician, laboratory, and surgical team
- Reducing complications and increasing predictability

A key component of this program is the interactive hands-on session. Participants will actively plan and execute a simulated full-arch case using the Osstem OneGuide system, gaining practical experience in guided implant placement and understanding how digital planning translates to precise clinical outcomes.

Digital Implant Planning: Integrating Surgical, Regenerative and Restorative Strategies

1.00 - 5.00pm | $395 incl. gst | Afternoon Tea included

Take your implant planning to the next level with Dr Amar Katranji in this interactive, case-based session. Through three challenging clinical cases, attendees will learn how to confidently integrate surgical positioning, regenerative strategy, and restorative planning within a single digital workflow.

The session will cover faster, more predictable decision-making, management of complex aesthetic and functional cases, and streamlined treatment planning using complimentary tools. Delegates can bring their own cases for live discussion and leave with practical strategies to implement immediately.

The Esthetic Biological Contour Concept (EBC)

1.00 - 5.00pm | $600 incl gst | Afternoon Tea included

This workshop focuses on the Esthetic Biological Contour (EBC) concept as a contemporary approach to achieving harmonious peri-implant esthetics and long-term biological stability in implant-supported restorations. Participants will explore the relationship between emergence profile design, soft tissue architecture, and restorative contour management through both theoretical and hands-on sessions. Key topics include 3D implant positioning, soft tissue conditioning, provisionalisation strategies, and the integration of digital workflows into restorative planning. Clinical protocols for shaping critical and subcritical contours will be demonstrated using provisional restorations and customized abutments. Real clinical cases, complications, and evidence-based solutions will be discussed to provide practical guidelines applicable to daily practice. The workshop combines biological principles, prosthetic concepts, and digital technologies to improve predictability and esthetic outcomes in implant dentistry.

The Use of Connective Tissue Grafts and Soft Tissue Substitutes in Periodontal and Peri-Implant Surgery

1.00 - 5.00pm | Early bird until 30 April - $595 incl gst | From 1 May - $695 incl gst | Afternoon Tea included

The use of connective tissue grafts and collagen matrices to regenerate soft tissue deficiencies around teeth and implants have enabled successful long term aesthetic outcomes.  Of particular importance is the ability to improve the quality of the surrounding soft tissues, thereby ensuring greater stability of the gingival margins (less gingival recession) and stability of the underlying crestal bone.  A thorough understanding of periodontal wound healing has enabled advancements in regenerative biomaterials and surgical techniques that are less invasive and more predictable.

Workshop Exercises
Collagen matrices (i.e., Geistlich Mucograft® and Geistlich Fibro-Gide®) will be used in this hands-on workshop to enable attendees to develop their surgical skills in periodontal/peri-implant soft tissue regeneration.  These procedures, including flap design, soft tissue handling, and suture techniques will be applied on pig jaws.
